“The Lightning Die has increased our production 30%+. The Die has been on for 4,000+ hours and still doing great. We added storage bins, which now was a waste of money as we have increased production and use the raw materials as fast as it comes in. I can’t believe the whole industry doesn’t jump to the Lightning!”
“After the Jacobs guys came out and helped our operators they are now more confident in their ability to raise the temperature and push the pellet mill to its limits. With the lightning dies installed we are seeing the amperage drop and our cooler is being overrun. What a great company to work with!”
“I am impressed with Jacobs Hammers, they last a long time!”
“My operators love the Lightning Die and would kill me if I switched back. The Lightning Die solved many of our pelleting problems!”
“Jacobs rods last a full year with very little grooving, competitors rods needed changed out every 6 months due to excessive grooving.”
“Lightning Die has better PDI by 15%, designed right for the DDG Formulation. Very impressed with quality up and AMP draw 15% less.”
When it comes to the Jacobs screens for the Andritz hammermill and the Dupps Grindor’s, the screens from Jacob’s were always more convenient to get and lasted longer the only time we would have to change them was when stainless went through the Grindor or Hammermill. Getting screens by the pallet is far more convenient than ordering by each.
“Very pleased with Bad Ax Hammers. Mill has less vibration, first corner 250 to 260 hours, 2nd corner at 180-190 and still going”
“The Triple Threat Hammers are working great on my Bliss Mill! Have to order another set! Got about 5.5 months out of them; I won’t go anywhere else!”
While running the Andritz hammer mill we were having to change the hammers every 1-2 weeks. Once we worked with Jacob’s and change the hammers along with a few other adjustments in the pattern, we were able to get 4-5 weeks of life out of the hammers.
